Kerryn obtained her B.Mus Degree from the University
of Stellenbosch before venturing off to Pretoria to
study for her Masters Degree in Music Therapy,
graduating in 2002. She has subsequently set up the
Community Music Therapy Clinic which does
fascinating and crucial work with trauma affected
children in the townships surrounding Cape Town.
Peter graduated with his B.Mus Degree from the
University of Cape Town with Distinction in
Classical Guitar, where he was leader of the UCT
guitar ensemble. He is currently working towards
obtaining his Masters Degree in Guitar Performance
at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. As a high school
pupil he was selected as a soloist for the school's
Music Festival, performing Vivaldi’s Guitar Concerto
in D at the Cape Town City Hall. He has also had the
rare opportunity for a guitarist of performing with
the CTPO in Cape Town Opera’s production of
Rossini’s "Barber of Seville" at Spier. Peter is a
member of a group currently recording an album of
original music with the sensational young
singer/songwriter Alice Gilham. He also teaches

Lisa Bauer obtained
her B.Mus in Jazz Vocal Performance from the Music
College at the University of Cape Town. Since then
she has performed with numerous groups, including
the superb Jazz a capella Group Mama Vox, and the
Jonny Cooper Big Band. At the end of 2004, Take Two
joined forces with Lisa’s gorgeous voice for a
series of performances at a Paarl Wine Farm, and the
Baobab Three was born. The unique trio combination
creates a refreshingly new sound, with a sensual
jazzy feel pervading most of their repertoire. Go to
the Music Gallery to get a taste. |
