With her singles “Turn Me on” and ”Ngicel’indoda” becoming massive hits and chart toppers both locally and internationally the future certainly looks bright for BUCIE. Blessed with amazing vocal abilities, sumptuous looks and captivating moves, she has really become a jewel of the South African music industry.
She was born as Busisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwiliso in 1987 in Kimberly, and was just like any other teenage girl her age growing up in her hometown of Klerksdorp. She attended high school and loved singing for fun with friends and she was the leader of the local church choir and participated in numerouse arts programs.
It all started changing when she was introduced to Thandukwazi “Demor” Sikhosana”, a South African music producer who co-owns Demor Music. Back then, Demor was the music lecturer at the Central Johannesburg College where attended as a music student. Demor was in search of a female artist to sign to a newly formed record Label (Demor Music). Bucie later bought shares and now co-owns. After a quick audition in one of the school’s offices the producer knew he had found more than just the voice he was in search of, she was the “Full package”
Bucie has gone on to wow crowds in New York City, New Jersey, London, Manchester and Paris, Portugal. Her album “Princess of House’’ attracted the attention of big labels in the USA and Europe.
