The two-year-old Johannesburg based South African rock band is well on their way of becoming a household name with their undeniably strong songs, and in no way second, their incredible, unique live performance. The bands performance ranges from raunchy rock tracks to smooth piano ballads, dancers, front-man (Christian Heath), two guitars (Chris Volbrecht and Bruce Klein) bass (Damian Meyer) and drummer/keyboard player (Rici Martins). They are constantly pushing the boundaries of live performance with their charismatic and energetic stage act. They currently enjoy airplay on numerous local radio stations, 94.7 Highveld Stereo, Jacaranda, East Coast Radio and Algoa FM. Successfully securing airplay internationally on 101.5FM Queensland, Australia. Also having opened for artists such as Prime Circle, Louise Carver, Jason Hartman and many more, they are a force to be reckoned with.

Debut album: Breaking Ground

Released February 2009, it consists of 10 tracks, 8 of which are original, and is based on a rollercoaster emotional journey. Add to this, 2 cover versions and a bonus music video of “Now and Ever”. The album was recorded in conjunction with Mark Beling (former Mean Mr. Mustard lead singer), who was tasked with ensuring that their music is of an international standard. Christian Heath Band is addictive and entertaining yet flexible to capture any audience. If you want a solid rock band, you’ve got one.
