David O' Sullivan every weekday afternoon when he rounds up all the stories of the day - from 702land and the world. If it's happened you'll know about it, if it's going to happen they'll be talking about it. As well as all the news, sport, business and traffic you need, David and the team make sure that the people in the news are also on the air.

The host of the afternoon drive show on Talk Radio 702, David is a seasoned journalist, author and sports fanatic, among many other things.

His broadcasting career started at Capital Radio, and took him overseas to the USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand before he joined 702 in 1995.

He has worked in all departments: news, sport and programming and has covered events ranging from the 1995 Rugby World Cup, the 1996 African Nations Cup, the 1996 Olympic Games, the first democratic elections.

David and 702 co-presenter, Aki Anastasiou run a sports themed quiz night that is very popular on the corporate entertainment circuit.

He has also co-authored The Penguin Book of South African Sports Trivia, and fans of that book can look forward to a second volume which will be released soon.

In the 2010 MTN Radio Awards David was named Best Daytime Talk Presenter of the Year.

Deciding on a change, David studied law at Wits and practiced media law as a candidate attorney for two years. The lure of journalism proved too strong however, and he joined 702 in 1995 before he qualified as a lawyer.

I now host the afternoon drive” says David.
