iGrooves - Rock, Drums, Instrumental, Function Band and Party Band - Johannesburg

This exciting drum ensemble performs energetic arrangements of popular drumming numbers such as "Safro Duo" and "Life", as well as many original and traditional compositions using some very unusual material . The band prefer to cater their performances per product, by including the clients theme into their playing. Performing as a trio (or more depending on your requirements), the band showcase their technical skills, while still creating a party vibe with ease.

iGrooves

iGrooves is an original, dynamic, South African based drum ensemble, which combines the complex rhythms of traditional African culture, with the popular simplicity of basic House and Pop grooves. The band is currently making waves in the corporate world, and after only six months together, already have an impressive list of clientele on their resume, including Nissan, Vodacom, Steers, IQ Business Group, Peroni and Samson.

Consisting of ex-members, from house act 1st Project, and adult contemporary bands, Lonehill Estate, and The Waiting Room, iGrooves are no newcomers to the music industry, and personally guarantee to awaken the natural rhythms hidden inside of all of us.

Although iGrooves draw on various influences such as Napalma and Stomp, they prove to be truly original, and opt to use everyday material objects, such as chairs, granite blocks or cans in conjunction with drums to create their totally unique rhythms.

Guaranteed to always get the party started, iGrooves are perfect for all your entertainment needs, such as product launches, teambuilding functions, employee parties, or year end functions. iGrooves is made up of some of the best drummers in South Africa, including Travis Marc, Stefan Lawrence, Jason Townsend, Dave Ashworth, Darren Pennings and others.

As individuals these drummers have performed on the same bill as Rock and Pop acts, Shaggy, Sean Paul, 3 Doors Down, Muse, The Audio Bullies and Jethro Tull. They have also performed in various overseas countries, including the Seychelles, Jamaica, London and Dubai.
