Joseph Clark

Solo Musician, Band, Shows and Cabaret - Johannesburg
Since 1994 Joseph started became a regular soloist
with the popular Jo’burg Pops concerts and has since
sung with all the major symphony orchestras of South
Africa. Highlights include singing in the Miss South
Africa Pageant, sharing the opening song with the
late R&B singer TK at the first International AIDS
Conference in Durban. He also sang for Nelson
Mandela at his 85th Birthday Celebration. |

Joseph Clark
With his extensive ballet and musical theatre
background, Joseph mainly does corporate
entertainment in South Africa, Europe, USA and
enjoys singing with symphony orchestras all over.
In 2004 he toured Italy and Germany performing the
music of QUEEN.
Joseph Clark was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas,
USA, left his ballet career in New York and Salt
Lake City when he was brought to South Africa by the
PACT Ballet Co. to dance the leading roles in Swan
Lake, Papillion, Romeo & Juliet and Witchboy. He
decided to stay after he was offered a lucrative
contract at NAPAC as dancer, actor and singer. He is
a regular soloist with all the symphony orchestras
across South Africa and his performances include
Pops Concerts, Miss SA Pageant, International AIDS
Conference with the late R&B singer TK and Nelson
Mandela’s 85th Birthday Celebration. |

Joseph Clark
As lead vocalist in QUEEN At The Opera he toured
South Africa with this successful production playing
The Durban Playhouse, The Standard Bank Arena, The
Johannesburg Civic Theatre, The State Theatre,
Pretoria, The Artscape Theatre and The Sand du
Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein. In 2002, Joseph
(along with fellow QUEEN At The Opera soloist –
Luciano Zuppa) appeared with the JPO in QUEEN - The
Concert at the Sandton Convention Centre, The Durban
Playhouse Theatre (with the KZNPO), the Spier
Festival (with the CPO) and at the Feather Market
Centre in Port Elizabeth (with the ECPO). |

(Narrator) and Queen at the Opera (Lead Singer)
Nominated for best actor in the solo play The Male
Intellect – an oxymoron?
