Nemza whose real name is Sello Mofokeng started his music career 12 years ago with a couple of friends now known as Skwatta Kamp (Multi award winning Hip Hop group). He has now released his first solo album called "Showtime" which is a 15 track album with a wide range of emotional and very opinionated tracks.

Nemza is one seventh of the South African hip-hop super group Skwatta Kamp. His career now spans over 10 years, 5 group albums and 2 solo albums – “Showtime” [nominated for Best Hiphop Album at the Metro FM Music awards with the hit single “Ithemba” receiving heavy rotation plus charting on YFM and Metro FM] and now “The Future”- the second solo offering. His impressive musical career also includes platinum and gold Skwatta Kamp success of both “Mkhukhu Funkshen” and “Washmkhukhu” hit albums respectively to date.

There are also two SAMA awards for Best Rap Album, Channel O Best Hip-hop Music Video, Kidz Choice Best Hip-hop/Kwaito Award and nomination for KORA awards.

Nemza hails from the East Rand and is one of the founding members of Skwatta Kamp

He has had the opportunity of touring throughout Africa and sharing stages with the likes of U.S. Hip-Hop Ludacris, Will Smith, Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Ghana’s VIP, Kabelo, Malaika, B.O.P., Tamara Dey, Tweak, N8tives…to mention just a few.
