Sindi Dlathu (born 1988) is a South African actress
and singer best known for her television roles as
Nomfundo in the SABC1 drama series Soul City
(2001-2008) and as Thandaza in the SABC2 soapie
Muvhango, since 1997.
She is one of only three actors who have appeared on
Muvhango since its inception in 1997 - the other two
are Murabeli Rasalanavho and Maumela Mahuwa.
In the screen version, she worked alongside Whoopi
Goldberg and was commissioned as an assistant
choreographer to Michael Peters, the man responsible
for many of Michael Jackson's dance routines.
Sindi's threatre productions include Madiepetsana
and a FNB Vita Award in 2003 for Best Actress in the
The Suit, locally performed at the Civic Theatre
with an international run at an Amsterdam festival.
Her television credits include Muvhango, Khululeka,
Justice for All and a six-season run on the SABC1
AIDS drama series Soul City.
