Steve Hofmeyr is one of South Africa's best-known singer/songwriters, although is he also known for his acting, writing and poetry.
Was selected as 32nd and 13th most popular South Africans of all time in two different polls in 2004.
Born in Pretoria, Steve went to Grey College in Bloemfontein, where he graduated in 1982.

The song was recorded in Flemish and shot to number 2 on the Belgian Top 100.
Steve won SAMA awards for Best Selling South African Artist in 2003 and 2004.
