Suga’s DJ career has gone from strength to strength, and has become overnight one of South Africa’s most recognised radio personalities, with her charismatic and bubbly personality a firm favourite with so many listeners. Suga's journey began in 1997 when starting as a weekend DJ for Good Hope FM and worked her way to becoming the first female DJ to have a prime time weekday slot on commercial music format radio in the city.

Suga has been with Good Hope FM since 1996, starting as a weekend DJ and working her way to becoming the first female DJ to have a primetime, weekday slot on commercial music format radio in the city. Her current show is broadcast every Monday to Friday morning from 9-12.

Born in 1976, Suga can be best described as kind, passionate, driven and a definite livewire which appeals to wide audience and is popular with teenagers and adults of all ages. She is also an accomplished public speaker and DJ who has played sets with DJ Jazzy Jeff and enjoyed numerous residencies in and around Cape Town.

She was also part of the Cape Town cast for 2003 V-Day celebrations held at the Baxter Theatre: The Vagina Monologues.

Co-hosting the 46664 concert, 19 March 2005 at Fancourt Hotel and Country Club, with Will Smith.

MC for an Investec functions in Johannesburg featuring Danny K and Mandoza.

MC for John Legend at the Castle of Good Hope

Musical Director for Old Mutual Divas Evening: music production for two Fashion Shows.

She was part of a documentary showcasing Frieda Darvel; the street child with the beautiful voice, for Swedish Filmmakers. This documentary had its worldwide Premier in Cape Town.
