Tansey Coetzee - MC, Presenter
and Ex Miss Sa - Johannesburg
Tansey Coetzee (born October 8, 1984) is a beauty
queen who won the title of Miss South Africa 2007,
and later represented South Africa in Miss Universe
2008 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, where she placed among
the top 15 semi-finalists. She also represented her
country in Miss World 2008 in her hometown,
Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 13, 2008
where she placed among the top 5.

Tansey Coetzee from Johannesburg walked away with
the 2007 Miss South Africa crown at the 50th
anniversary pageant, and represented South Africa at
the Miss Universe 2008 and the Miss World
2008 (placed in the top 5).
Tansey completed her BA in Corporate Communication
at RAU (now UJ).
Her role model is Oprah Winfrey - "She's an
inspiration to all, I admire her bravery to beat all
the odds and to do great things for herself and
others."

What is your proudest personal accomplishment?
"Being from a coloured community people do not
expect you to succeed, or accomplish anything. I
believe I have shown them that it can be done and
that you should be proud of your roots and
background."
