Vivacious, curvaceous and smoking hot, The Original Tons are one of South Africa’s best-loved female groups and have wowed audiences both locally and abroad for over seven years. Many will also remember them heating up the night at Madame Zingara’s Theatre of Dreams.

 

Celebrating the smash hits of Motown and the great disco divas including Aretha Franklin, The Pointer Sisters, The Supremes and Gladys Knight, their show is vibrant, sassy  and, most of all, the best uplifting fun around.

 

Most recently seen on stage in their own production, Disco Nights at The New Space Theatre, these fabulous diva’s will infuse magic into every event and added sparkle to every occasion.

Stella hails from Fort Beaufort, South Africa, and began her auspicious career singing in her church and community choirs. She has since performed in many acclaimed theatre productions as well as on several local television shows.

 

In between her busy local career, Stella has also found time to travel to Germany, Norway Australia and New Zealand.

The inimitable Lilian was born in Johannesburg, where she trained as a Cordon Bleu chef and studied HR, PR and marketing before following her heart and true talent.

 

She first began doing voice-over's and was soon performing regularly; in theatre, on television and radio as well as abroad.

Dorothy, who is from Cape Town, first sang in a gospel choir, winning awards for Best Vocalist as well as Best Solo Artist.

 

She has performed in many countries, including China, Turkey, Spain and Dubai, and has entertained various well known personalities including Desmond Tutu and Barry White.
