Tumisho Masha


Tumisho Masha is an accomplished actor, presenter and writer, best known for his role as Dumisani Thusong on the soapie Isidingo and for presenting the magazine show Top Billing. He currently stars as Modise Tladi, Itumeleng's wise and principled younger brother on the cusp of a hot career in advertising, in the M-Net soap opera The Wild, since 2011.

Since starting out as a video jock for the youth music channel on DSTV “Channel ‘O’”, Tumisho, who holds the degree BA.Dram (Hons) from the University of the Witwatersrand, has proved himself as a capable and talented performer in all media as an actor, voice artist, television presenter, radio dj, MC and motivational speaker. He hosted the annual South African Music Awards (SAMAS) for the second consecutive year in 2006. Among the many international films Tumisho has appeared in are Beyond Borders (with Angelina Jolie), Red Water (with Louie Diamond Phillips and rapper Coolio), and Doctor Lucille (with academy award winner Louise Gossett, Jnr). He played a supporting role in Drum, as the famous Sophiatown writer and socialite Can Themba.
