Founded in May 2009, Twilight Rhapsody is a 7-piece band that can meet the pre-drinks, back ground music and dance needs for your wedding or other special function. We play songs from various eras - all coloured with our jazzy flavour.

It is our mission to provide music that supports your event, but does not overwhelm in any way. The choice of music is intended to add to the vibe and is played in a way that provides a pleasant and sophisticated ambience. The band can also perform as a smaller ensemble (Piano, Sax, Guitar, Bass & Drums).

A little bit of history…

Towards the end of 2008 Dr Anthony Costandius and his son, Jan, started a Piano and Tenor Sax duo “Two Piece” that specialised in background music for all intimate and special events. Drawing encouragement on the positive response from clients, Anthony invited other talented musicians, with whom he been working for the past 10 years, to join him is setting up Twilight Rhapsody. The rest, as they say, is history.

Twilight Rhapsody has drawn a very positive response from clients and we aim to evolve an ever-improving product for our client.
