Charmaine is the manageress of popular coffee shop, Oppiekoffie. She is ‘n widow and a much loved resident of Hillside. She has a good, but sometimes tumultuous relationship with her daughter, Vanessa. Mother and daughter sometimes disagree and have their arguments, but they always work things out.
