Zuraida Jardine is a South African DJ, actress, television presenter and journalist best known to television viewers as the host of the second season of Big Brother, as well as for winning the first season of the SABC2 reality competition Strictly Come Dancing.
She also played the role of Veneshree on the first season of the SABC1 sitcom City Ses'la, in 2005.
Zuraida Jardine first made her name as a disc jockey for Good Hope FM in Cape Town, where she hosted numerous shows and read the news for five years, from 1997-2002.
Zuraida Jardine is South Africa's first celebrity winner of the hit international TV series Strictly Come Dancing aka Dancing with the Stars.
She is 5FM's (one of South Africa’s leading Top Forty radio stations) first female DJ in history to host a daytime show.
Her Radio and TV career over the last decade has seen her host her own TV show Viscous Delicious to hosting reality show, Big Brother and more.
You can find her interviewing the worlds biggest stars, from Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron, Will Smith, Colin Farrel, Carmen Electra to Donald Trump etc. on one of South Africa’s biggest hit Television shows, Top Billing.
Zuraida has for three years consecutively (in 2003, 2004 and 2005) walked away with South Africa’s Favourite Female Personality award in the Kids Choice Awards. She has covered New York Fashion week for Top Billing and continues to do movie and music junkets around the world.
She has been nominated for South Africa’s Most Stylish Celebrity award in the Elle Style Awards, and as Favourite Female DJ in the Star In You Awards on numerous occasions. She won the People’s Crystal Award for Best Dressed Television Personality, and in 2006 won the YOU award once again, for South Africa’s Favourite Female Personality.

Zuraida is married to Josh Lindbergh, and they are currently expecting their first child.
