Connie Bentlage is a seasoned performer with 27 years of stage experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in music from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS). Renowned for her dynamic, energy-filled stage presence and captivating performances, she brings the perfect blend of professionalism and entertainment to any occasion. With her smooth, sultry sound and extensive repertoire, Connie effortlessly caters to a wide variety of events— from weddings and private parties to corporate functions, stage productions, and even international performances — always adding a touch of class and sophistication.
Specialising in saxophone and keyboards, Connie’s mastery of multiple musical styles keeps her at the forefront of the South African music industry and her expertise has led to numerous invitations from venues and shows to serve as Musical Director. Her versatile repertoire includes smooth jazz, classics, pop, rock, popular hits, African styles (Amapiano, Afrojazz), and trending genres such as Buddha Bar/Café del Mar, Electro Swing, and Tropical House. Her exceptional ability to sight-read and improvise ensures flawless adaptability to any musical setting or collaborative opportunity.
