Gal Ezra has built a reputation as an entrepreneur, investor, and mentor driven by a lifelong passion for helping others succeed. From a young age, he showed an unusual interest in both business and spirituality, often offering guidance to people far older than himself. By the age of 25, he had established his first million-dollar company, laying the foundation for a career that would span events, property finance, hospitality, and personal development.
In 2013, Gal co-founded one of South Africa’s best-known events and festival businesses, attracting more than 40,000 attendees annually and continuing to operate successfully today. He later co-founded Empower Funding in 2018, where he serves as CEO. Despite entering the finance industry with no prior experience, he successfully grew the company into a major property finance business. Alongside these ventures, he has expanded into property investments, boutique hotels, Airbnb developments, online coaching, webinars, speaking engagements, and podcast hosting.

Gal’s journey to success was shaped by significant personal challenges. Born in Cape Town to an Israeli family, he spent much of his childhood in the United States after relocating there at the age of seven. At 19, a visa rejection unexpectedly left him stranded in South Africa without financial support, a career, or a support network. During this difficult period, his father, Meir Ezra, refused to provide financial assistance but instead offered knowledge and mentorship. Applying those lessons became the turning point that launched Gal’s entrepreneurial success and shaped his philosophy on personal growth and leadership.
Today, Gal divides his time between Cape Town and Tampa while continuing to mentor and inspire audiences around the world. He credits much of his success to the close relationship and guidance he received from his family, particularly his parents. Passionate about martial arts, water sports, free diving, travel, and fitness, he combines business expertise with a strong commitment to coaching others. His mission is centered on providing the knowledge, mentorship, and practical tools that empower people to achieve success in both business and life.
