Gumboot Dancers

 

Gumboot dancing was a form of expression for the mine workers of the past South African regime. They would dance their sorrows and longings for home away as they worked in very difficult situations. The energetic and stylish gumboot dancers, dance and sing portraying the spirit of unity, joy and peace in our new democratic South Africa.

Routines last between 5 and 15 minutes and you can have multiple routines within an hour.

There can be between 3 and 25 dances used depending on your requirements.
