Deacon’s multiple top 40 entries, across the biggest radio stations in South Africa, #1 on Mix FM and 6-week stint at #1 on the 5FM Indie Chart, high profile playlist inclusions across Apple Music and Spotify, and prominent features on Indie Shuffle, CLASH, Earmilk and Record of the Day, to name but a few, culminated in him being invited to perform at Musexpo, the lauded international music and media conference, in Los Angeles in 2020.
But rather than let grass grow under his feet, Deacon decidedly continues to churn out the chart-toppers.
