Marvellous Tshiunza

TV Presenter - Cape Town
Marvellous Tshiunza

I am Congolese 23 year old who is born and bred here in South Africa.

Growing up I loved performing, entertaining and the art world. I grew up in a very African home with people full of dreams and confidence. All of these traits quickly rubbed off me and led me to believe in my vision and dreams.

I started finding my potential through dancing. I taught myself and from there on became what we call a freestyle dancer. I joined crews and performed for cultural evenings and at local churches for entertainment. From there I went onto modelling and doing adverts and acting and drifting into the media world slowly.

I have also had the opportunity to do TV presenting for a faith based and culture show called FiftyFour Show which played throughout Africa online and on TV platforms e.g. TBN Africa and Sky oversees. I help lead and speak to the youth at my local church. From there I also saw myself going into other opportunities such as voice overs. I got an award for public speaking from my high school in my matric year which really encouraged me to push harder.

I have also had the opportunity to be part of the Top 20 expresso Cape Town presenter search 2019 and have had the opportunity to interview many artists including the American Terrence J Williams and Nomzamo Mbatha.

I managed to partner with a digital bank called Bettr where I interviewed and spoke to many creatives around Cape Town for their campaign.

I also managed to start a YouTube show called “The Lobby” where it’s a platform for real conversations in Africa and society.

I live to influence, inspire, occupy and lead every platform I’m given. I have a passion to seeing our youth and Africa move forward into our full potential. I believe the platform I have been given has a voice to speak and influence.

I have also completed a marketing diploma through Cape Peninsula University of Technology which is also another “plus” to my portfolio.

A big music fan and lyricism. I love God. Love learning new things. Love fashion.
