Born on January 16, 1985, in Fourways, Gauteng, Nicole Capper is more than just a survivor; she is a beacon of hope, an ex-Mrs. South Africa, and a versatile entrepreneur. Her remarkable journey, both in life and on reality TV, showcases the strength of the human spirit and the power of determination.

A Woman of Many Titles - Nicole Capper is a woman who wears many hats. Not only is she an ex-Mrs. South Africa, but she's also the owner of an events company and a luxury online magazine. Her journey towards courage and breaking out of her comfort zone began when her daughter was diagnosed with a rare and life-limiting genetic disease. It was this pivotal moment that inspired her to step out of her shell and embrace the belief that anything is possible.

In 2017, Nicole entered the Mrs South Africa pageant, and against all odds, she emerged victorious. Her triumph marked the beginning of a series of epic adventures aimed at raising funds and awareness for social causes close to her heart. Nicole's determination even took her to the summit of Kilimanjaro. She expanded her influence through modelling, motivational speaking, and becoming an ambassador for Rare Diseases SA. She is also the founder of Inside Out, an organization that connects youth with their sports and business heroes.

Survivor South Africa: Island of Secrets - Nicole's indomitable spirit and resilience were put to the test when she participated in Survivor South Africa: Island of Secrets. During her journey on the show, she was a founding member of the Amigos alliance, forging tight relationships with fellow contestants, notably with Rob Bentele. Nicole's strategic prowess made her a valuable asset as she often gathered critical information and shared it with Rob, leading to the downfall of those who had placed their trust in her.

As the game progressed, Nicole's reputation evolved. Some saw her as an opportunist who contradicted her professed virtues, leading to a reckoning at the Final Tribal Council. While she faced criticism for perceived hypocrisy, others respected her undeniable strategic importance. Ultimately, Nicole finished as the runner-up to Rob in a 6-4-0 vote.

 

Nicole Capper - Post-Survivor Achievements

Nicole's journey didn't end with Survivor. She continued to make her mark in various ways. In June 2020, she participated in a Survivor-themed mini-competition of Sequester, competing alongside former contestants from Survivor, Australian Survivor, Survivor South Africa, and Survivor New Zealand.

On December 6, 2020, Nicole celebrated her marriage to Clint Austin, adding another chapter to her inspirational story.
