Pepsi Pokane made a splash on TV screens at just 14, and now he's as at ease in front of the camera as most are in their favourite armchair. His talents are not confined to the screen, though; he is equally at home commanding boardrooms as an actor, director, and master of ceremonies.

Now at the helm of a multimedia company, he leads the creation of diverse TV content. His journey took an intriguing turn after high school when he enrolled in international business at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Initially intending to follow in his mother's business-savvy footsteps, the allure of media studies captured his imagination. He left university in his third year, but not without gaining a solid grounding in business principles.

Returning to South Africa in 2002, he kicked off his career with a role as a continuity presenter at SABC. His ventures have since spawned numerous shows, including SABC3’s “Zooming in on Men,” DStv’s “Urban Massive,” and SABC2’s “Zwahashu.” Reflecting on his journey, Pokane highlights launching SABC2’s “Afro Cafe,” which he also presented, and introducing South Africa's second 24-hour gospel channel, "Top Gospel," on Top TV as major career milestones.

Pepsi’s charismatic persona and industry influence have led to numerous brand endorsements from both local and international companies, establishing him as a dynamic force in South Africa’s media and entertainment landscape.
