About Success Lekabe
Success Lekabe has always known she wants to make a difference in the lives of others – today as a TV and radio presenter it remains her goal and passion. She is a lover of sport and people.
Born and bred in a Potchefstroom township, Ikageng, she attended an English primary school called Potchefstroom Central and went on to attend an Afrikaans high school called Potchefstroom Hoerskool Gimnasium. Success matriculated in 2007 and went on to study MBW and Psychology at the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus.
In 2012 she moved to Bloemfontein to start her career in radio at OFM. She worked on the following shows:
- 2012 – Grave yard shift.
- 2012 – Huistoe with Johrne Van Huysteen.
- 2013 – 2015 – Siesta with Martin van Der Merwe.
- 2016 – The Big Breakfast with Martin van der Merwe.
In 2016 she decided to make another dream come true and moved to Cape Town where she is currently working for a community radio station Bok Radio. She won newcomer of the year award in 2017 at the Bokkies awards.
Her dream of doing a TV show came true in 2018 when she received a call from Paul Venter of Homebrew Films to be part of the talk show, Tussen Ons on KYKNET & Kie. The show aired its final episode in June 2022 and walked away with a Media Feather award for best entertainment show in 2019.

- 2020 – Guest Presenter at the Fiestas TV awards.
- 2019 - Nominated for a Tempo award for best presenter.
- 2019 – Won Best Presenter and Best Program at the annual Bok Radio Bokkies awards.
- 2017 – Won Newcomer of the year at the Bok Radio Bokkies Awards.
