An AFDA graduate with a BA (HONS) in Motion Picture & Live Performance, Trevor sees the world through a lens of colour, love, and belonging—elements that reflect his deep connection to his homeland. Since bursting onto the scene in 2012 by winning the Elle Style Reporter title, he has firmly established himself as a formidable force in the creative industry.

A passionate explorer, he draws inspiration from his travels, revealing that the more he journeys beyond home, the more he appreciates its power and significance. This understanding fuels his storytelling, allowing him to find fragments of home anywhere he goes. His affectionate tribute to the Himba women of Namibia in his solo exhibition “Home” exemplifies his dedication to celebrating African beauty and culture. His works have been showcased globally, including at San Francisco’s Museum of the African Diaspora and through curated installations like “Teleporting into Afrika” and “This is Home,” which highlight his ability to create immersive cultural narratives.
