Tom David:
After having completed Walk With Us in 2017, Tom returned back to South Africa with the ambition to continue serving underserved communities. He has spent the last 5 years navigating the mobile payments industry on the continent. In 2020, Tom launched Abela, a mobile wallet platform that attempts to make digital financial services accessible to anyone with a cellphone.
Tom is excited to continue to share the Walk With Us story and the invaluable lessons learnt along the road.
Warren Handley:
Warren’s career has seen him follow a path of social enterprise, entrepreneurship and fintech, most recently working as a Product Manager for a global payments company. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Oxford. His aim is return to South Africa to contribute to the African tech ecosystem.
Walk With Us ingrained a responsibility in Warren to contribute to society and he continues to measure his success by the impact he makes.
